The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll sit at the front of Shipsy’s enterprise growth across Australia, and events are the engine driving that growth. You will own the full event pipeline across the region: selecting the right logistics and supply chain conferences, planning and executing pre-event activities, driving on-ground initiatives at events, and converting every post-event conversation into a qualified pipeline.

You’ll work closely with senior sales leaders on high-value accounts and be involved early in how enterprise deals are shaped. From identifying the right target accounts at events to setting up the commercial conversations that follow, you will have direct influence on how Shipsy wins in the region. This is a foundational hire for someone who wants real ownership of a market, not just a role within one.

Turn Events into Enterprise Pipeline

• Define how Shipsy shows up in Australia. Choose the right stages, build presence in the right rooms, and make every event a deliberate move toward market leadership.
• Get ahead of every event by mapping the accounts that matter, so commercial conversations start before you walk through the door.
• Position Shipsy as a category leader at tier-1 logistics and supply chain conferences across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, not just an attendee.
• Turn post-event conversations into commercial momentum, working hand-in-hand with Sales Leaders and Account Directors to move from first interaction to first deal.
• Shape the demand generation strategy for Australia via the events calendar.
• Bring intelligence back from every event: what’s landing, which accounts are warming up, and where Shipsy should focus next.
• Own the feedback loop between field activity and pipeline, and use it to sharpen the strategy over time.

Your Profile: Events & Demand Generation

• 1 to 4 years of experience in field marketing, events, demand generation, or enterprise sales within SaaS, logistics, or supply chain technology.
• Hands-on experience planning or executing B2B events, from conferences and trade shows to hosted roundtables.
• Comfortable working enterprise accounts: understanding buying structures, mapping stakeholders, and building context before the first conversation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage confidently with senior buyers on the ground.
• Familiarity with the Australian and Asia-Pacific logistics, supply chain, or enterprise technology landscape.
• Organised, follow-through-obsessed, and energised by the pace of a live event environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• Street-smart and highly adaptable. You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and don’t wait for a playbook to get started.
• Willing and able to travel frequently across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Comfort with a high-travel lifestyle is essential.
